FBGM...

bestlovequoteslove.com
Plain and simple... Fuck Bitches Get Money! No time for Bull Shit.

I'm keeping my goals to myself and one other.  What I do in private is no ones business. My income, bank account, and next move are private, I clearly have no sex life since I work a lot and that's okay. I'm tired of the drama, gossip, and disloyalty.  What happened to helping, and supporting each other?
I need to find like minded people.  My inner circle will stay the same, but it's time to build around the Yin and Yang.

Virg- You are the Yin to my Yang, or is it the other way around. Haha

The Fitness Challenge.

I am horrible at fitness challenges. Anything where I have to give up carbs and other yummy garbage food makes me cry. I have to do this, if I dont, I will live a short painful life. I can't have that. I enjoy life too much to kill myself with food. I love food too much to kill myself with food.

The challenge:
90 days of healthy eating, meal replacements, detox/fasting and 30-90 minutes of exercise a day. What does that mean for me? Giving up soda, bread, and candy? Not really. The first week I will give up most sugars and carbs. But, I'm not giving up bread or ginger ale. I may switch to tonic water and add fruit or juice to it. I need to learn to not overindulge when eating. Moderation is key and learning to stay within my limits. If not, the food will have to go permanently.

This is week 1- detox from garbage foods.
Breakfast- Body by Vi smoothie with fresh fruit and almond milk.
Lunch- Salad and a rice cake with peanut butter and banana
Dinner- Open faced tuna sandwich with tomato on whole wheat bread, Chicken fajitas, Pork chops with brown rice and steamed veggies
Drinks- Water with lemon or cucumber and tea with honey
Fitness- Walking at least 30 minutes and light exercise till my foot feels better.

I'll try to post as often as I can about my progress. Sadly I did not measure myself today. I did however weigh in at 165.

I will leave it here for now and tell you more in my next post. It's such a pain typing on a darn tablet.

Lent day Five: Ready for a Challenge

The day started with a hangover like feeling.  I think the very little sugar I had yesterday may be the cause, or maybe the caffeine from my tea.  I had an awful headache.  I got up to make the girls from Samantha's slumber party pancakes and bacon.  Chocolate chip pancakes were made for the first time. I'm not really a fan of them, but the girls liked them.  I chose a BLT instead.  We watched Nine Dead and I thought it was interesting.  It's like a mystery/psychological thriller type movie.  The girls all left before 2 pm. YAY! I thought they were staying past dinner, because Samantha invited them to stay that long.  Now that the kids are gone I can relax and clean up the house. Ha ha, yup cleaning house was relaxing for the moment.  I need to clear my head and think things through.  I have some things on my mind and in my heart that need to be worked out.  I'll go for a walk after dinner to help.

We made:
Hershey's cookies and cream cookies,
Brownies,
Blueberry cheese cake (also I bought one too),
Home made Oreo McFlurries,
Nachos for dinner
Nuka Cola (Fallout video game drink)
Chocolate chip pancakes with bacon for breakfast.

Tomorrow is the start of my 30 Day Challenges.  I will do Marc and Angels Challenge called 30 Challenges for 30 days of Growth.  I got it as a free download. Yay for free! According to the challenge I have to do these challenges for the full 30 days. A new challenge each day, but I must continue to do each challenge EVERYDAY! So as I add a challenge each day I will still be doing day ones challenge. This will be a challenge for sure and I'm excited.

Also, I will start a variety of fitness challenges that I am going to put together and make my own fitness challenge, sorta. We'll see how it goes.  If you would like to join me in my fitness challenge I will post a separate entry about how I will be challenging myself.

Question of the day: What does every good relationship have?

Communication- an honest, open, and trusting communication.  It's very important that people are not afraid to express their feelings with one another.  Be honest, open, trustworthy, understanding, and thoughtful in all communications in any relationship.

Yesterday, making it count & worth mentioning

"Now that it’s all over, what did you really do yesterday that’s worth mentioning?"
~Coleman Cox

Yesterday, I walked Samantha to Paradise Skate to celebrate her friend Loran's birthday. We got there an hour early, so we went to the Antioch Flea Market to kill time.  Samantha saw a cool knife and asked if she could get it.  It's her birthday soon, and it is a cool knife, so of course I bought it.  So proud of myself for buying my daughter her first weapon.  I know that sounds silly, but I like knives as well, plus I have been telling Samantha I would get her some once she turned 13. She was pretty excited.  We walked back to paradise Skate to meet up with her friends.  Instead of going home, I decide to walk to the pier to take some photos and meditate.  She was going to be there for about two hours.  I walked down L Street and went to Humphrey's. The so called "New Boat Launch" is where the park used to be.  I remember taking the kids there for picnics.  I walked out to the dock and stood there, just feeling the water rock me.  When a boat decided to dock, I walked back to the Pier by Humphrey's and just sat there quietly for a moment.  I walked around a bit to take some photos and then headed back to Paradise Skate.
It was nice to have time for myself.  It's been to long, most of my ME time has been shower or sleep.  I haven't been blogging or working on my 30 day challenges due to the heavy workload I have for school.  It's about to get heavier.  I'm starting to get behind and I am studying every chance I get.  The only thing I got done for February's 30 day challenge was organization. THAT'S IT!  Gah, so frustrating. I haven't even started March's challenge.  Though it is frustrating to not be able to keep up right now, school is far more important to me.  So the challenges can easily be put on the back burner and done at another time. I was thinking about swapping some of the challenges to fit my schedule.  I told myself I need to schedule in blogging at least 30 minutes a day, even if I don't finish the post I can complete it the next day and then post it.  As long as I get something done.

So... I guess what I am saying is what I did yesterday was worth mentioning because it helped me Refresh & Focus.  Moving forward and making each day count.

NOTE - Revising one of my old blogs and started posting there again.  Mostly quick notes and quotes to myself.  Maybe I'll share it soon.

My Body Image

Awesome quote

Most women do not like being naked in front of others. Some won't even get completely naked in front of their significant others. Now I am no expert at all this being naked business, who is really?  I just think being naked shouldn't be an issue. Yet here I am insecure about my own body image. Though it is not what other see that I am afraid of; it is what I see or think I see when I look at myself. Many women have distorted views of their bodies. I know I had asked Ryan on many occasions while out if I looked like certain women. I thought these women were close to what I see when I look in the mirror. Ryan would always say no and I think a few times he thought I may be crazier than usual. I would love to have a tummy tuck someday. Mostly for comfort reasons rather than vanity. I have a difficult time finding clothes that fit well because after having 3 kids my belly isn't what it used to be. It also has to do with the fact I drank soda a lot and didn't take care of my body. So it is my own fault.

Don't get me wrong, I do love being naked. I hang out at home naked all the time, maybe a little too much. Yet I am insecure about others seeing me naked. Weird, right? I am working on my body image in more ways than one. I am trying to get healthier inside and out. I am trying to see myself in new ways, testing myself and pushing my limits. I want to be comfortable in my own skin. I want to be happy with what I have and who I am. It's all a work in progress.

Me July 2010 :(

This is me last Summer. I love this dress and it no longer fits. So I know I gained some weight since then. the sad thing is I was fat/ chubby last Summer. I tried to lose weight over the last few years and I could never lose any. I know I need a change in my diet and start working out more. This lent I have not lost any weight. I think my body is on starve mode and saving that fat just in case. I know my body will figure it out sooner or later that I am not starving.

I know I am a pear shape because all my weight is in my belly, hips, thighs & ass {HUSH VIRGINIA}.

I want to post pictures on here but I am a little worried about them becoming more than my before and after pictures. I know it would be a great motivation to keep me going. I've seen what people do to pictures online. I'll have to think about it
